What is the difference between HDPE, LLDPE and PVC Corr-Tite?

We generally recommend HDPE Corr-Tite for use in industrial applications, because it has a higher chemical resistance, while LLDPE is recommended for municipal wastewater and sulfide gas corrosion protection. Both work extremely well in most applications, but the LLDPE is a bit easier to weld and bend. PVC is a standard for municipal wastewater, particularly pipe and structures, and is the most flexible of the three materials. Its drawback is that it does not always anchor well due to that same flexibility.

Why is Corr-Tite blue? Is it the only color available?

We wanted to have a color that was readily identifiable as Resicon, and we chose blue. It looks good without losing the visibility necessary in enclosed applications such as manholes, wet wells and sumps. We do supply Corr-Tite in Black and White, as well, and in custom colors if the need arises and the quantity is large enough.
