An Innovative Solution

In 2003, Resicon teamed up with one of the major U.S. prestressed concrete tank manufacturing companies to develop an innovative new tank design. The result of this collaboration is a patent-pending tank system built to last in highly corrosive environments.

By replacing coatings with Corr-Tite® concrete protective liner which is built right into the concrete, a whole new opportunity for tank design became possible. Coupled with an innovative water stop system that creates a watertight wall-to-floor interface, these new tanks marry the reliability of prestressed concrete with high corrosion resistance that lasts the life of the tank.

Prestressed concrete tanks and concrete domes lined with Corr-Tite® polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) embedment liner are ideal for large-volume applications that need to withstand the long term corrosive environments found in industrial and municipal digesters, surge and holding tanks.
