Lined Manholes

Manholes are a constant source of concern for municipalities and industries, as much corrosion damage takes place in these structures. Whether a flow-through structure for pipe inspection and maintenance or a junction for pipelines carrying different waste materials, manholes see the bulk of corrosive gases and synergistic corrosion caused by these flows.

Most of the major corrosive effect in enclosed concrete structures is above the liquid level, where gases from the liquid mix with the atmosphere to create weak acids. These acids are what destroy the concrete over time.
